Fourth Tuesdays Program
Fourth Tuesday of each month - 6:00 p.m. at Harris House
Interested in learning more about Harris House? Join us the fourth Tuesday of each month for an introduction to Harris House presentation followed by a tour of our facilities and complimentary dinner. Potential clients and volunteers are welcome to attend, as well as any members of the community interested in more information about Harris House. Parking available on Broadway in front of building, enter through front doors.


Speakers Bureau
Harris House offers presentations ranging from the problem of drug and alcohol addictions to the treatment options available to people in need. Presentations are available for any organization interested and speakers can be scheduled by contacting Harris House at (314) 631-4299.

Harris House Fall Mental Health Professionals Seminar
On October 23, 2009, Harris House presents our Fall Professionals Seminar for mental health professionals working with alcohol or chemically dependent clients. This seminar features two highly experienced professionals from the nationally recognized leader in 12-Step treatment, the Hazelden Treatment Center in Minnesota. Dr. Dan Frigo, PhD, LICSW, instructor at Hazelden’s Graduate School of Addiction Studies and at Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work, will speak on Empathy and the Therapeutic Alliance. In addition, Brenda Iliff, MA, LADC, Director of Clinical Services at Hazelden Women’s Recovery Center will speak on Women and Addiction:Gender Specific Treatment Issues in Recovery. Admission is free to treatment professionals, 4 CEU’s are provided at no cost.

Trivia Night
Harris House Trivia Night will be held on Saturday evening, November 14, at VFW Hall #3944, located at 10817 Midland Blvd., about 5 minutes east of 270 and Page.

Doors open at 6 pm, trivia contest begins at 6:30! Admission cost is $25 per person, or $160 per table of 8 contestants.
