Programs: Long-Term and Transitional Housing
The following residential programs are available for individuals at the appropriate stage of the recovery process or for individuals who have completed Harris House's 28-day program. Our admissions process will identify the appropriate placement within our continuum care for individuals interested in Harris House's services.
Long-Term Residential
- Clients age 21 and older are eligible for highly subsidized rent and meals in separate buildings and programs for male and female clients with a total of 67 beds.
- Provides ongoing support that many treatment programs fail to offer.
- Clients live in a supportive community housing environment with readily available ongoing treatment services.
- More than 50% of our 28-day program graduates join our long-term residential program to continue building their recovery skills in familiar surroundings with familiar faces.
- Program available for stays of four months up to one year.
Transitional Housing
- Provides subsidized housing for clients who desire continuing support.
- Housing available for up to one year with separate buildings for male and female clients with a total of 15 beds.
- Includes case management and supportive counseling with outside 12-step support.
